Who we are
Squish Squad is a trading name of 3am Thoughts Limited, registered in England & Wales.
Address: 5 Hadfield Place, Berkhamsted, HP4 3BE
Email: jordan@3amthoughts.co.uk
What we collect
Order details: your name, delivery address, email and what you bought, so we can send your squishies and help if something goes wrong.
Email sign-ups: your email (and name, if you give it) when you join the Squish Squad, for first dibs on new squishies and secret deals.
Why we use it
To take and deliver your orders, handle returns, answer your messages, and — only if you signed up — send Squish Squad news. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Our legal reasons: we use order details to fulfil our contract with you, keep order records because the law requires it, and send emails only with your consent.
We keep order records for as long as the law requires for tax and accounting (usually 6 years). We keep sign-up details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
Who helps us run the shop
Shopify runs our checkout, payments and order emails. Supabase stores email sign-ups. Our website host serves the site, and Google Fonts supplies our fonts, which means your browser shares your IP address with Google.
Some of these companies may handle data outside the UK. When they do, they use the legal safeguards UK law requires, such as standard data protection contract clauses.
Cookies and storage
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser remembers your basket and your sound on/off choice on your own device so the shop works. Shopify's checkout uses its own essential cookies to take payment.
Children
Our squishies are for kids, but grown-ups place orders. If you're under 13, please ask a grown-up to join the Squish Squad email list for you.
We never sell your data
We never sell or rent your information to anyone. We only share it with services that help us run the shop (like delivery companies), and only what they need.
Payments are handled securely by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card details.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, have it deleted, get a copy to take elsewhere, or object to how we use it. You can unsubscribe from emails at any time. Just get in touch and we'll sort it within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
